A realistic Guide to life at UCLan - written by students!
We all know that finding a suitable place to live is one of the most important parts of university life. All students, potential or current, should be given all the information necessary to find a suitable place and the accommodation website has everything you need. The Accommodation Service provides access to accommodation, either university owned or via landlords who are approved by the university.
The majority of students have some contact with the Accommodation Service at some stage but for those who haven’t here are some comments from those who have.
Forensic Psychology undergraduate Rebecca West used it:
“I found the accommodation service at Uclan to be extremely useful and easily accessible. The service is very informative and has provided support throughout my 1st yr at University.
The process of moving into halls was simple with the help of the service and I have been happy to let them use my flat and room for open day and applicant day viewing.”
Sports Science undergrad Chris Banks did too:
“I used the service when I transferred universities. I'm loving my time in Preston and I've met lots of great people; some of whom I will be living with next year. I do not in the slightest regret my decision. If anything I wish I'd made it sooner.”
