Leaving home for the first time? Have you got a family to look after? Need to take on a part time job for some extra money? Then managing your time might prove more complicated than you think. Don’t be fooled by a timetable full of free time, if you want to enjoy that free time, your time management needs to be top notch.
The typical image of university students watching ‘Jeremy Kyle’ or ‘Diagnosis Murder’ and having all night drinking sessions make managing your time look like a doddle. We’ve all watched ‘Hollyoaks’ where the students never seem to be in lectures, drink all day and never go to the library, but in reality there’s a bit more to it than that.
Juggling lectures, assignments, part time work, nights out and boring things like food shopping and washing, can be an absolute nightmare. However, if you are able to manage your time properly, you’ll have more time to go out and enjoy yourself. These pages of the website are full of advice on how to manage your time at university to ensure you enjoy every second of it.
