Meet the TAG Team

The people who make TAG happen...

Firstly the BIG thank you has to go out to the students and staff at UCLan who are supporting TAG by either developing content or using TAG as a client for assessments.

TAG would not be happening without students producing content so thank you very much!

The TAG site has been sub-edited / proof read by  Jez Hemming  and Tara Allen

I'm Lucy Warman the TAG project manager.  I am a graduate of UCLan (BA (Hons) Public Relations 2007) and was an SLO before I took on the role as a Research Assistant managing the TAG project.

We also have Professor John O'Donoghue, who has ultimate responsibility for the TAG project. John is a prof so he has lots of qualifications, which I am not going to list here but basically he knows a thing or two about technology supporting education!

Louisa Dignan - Research Assistant is a Graduate of BA (Hons) Psychology and Theology & Religious Studies.  Louisa did not attend UCLan as a students but we'll let her off as she has been very useful in providing an "outsiders perspective".  Louisa is the only other full time member of staff on TAG and is involved in the on going development of TAG as well as the supporting the evaluation of the project.  She is working closely with Barbara to develop the study skills support and course choice aspects of the site.

Jim Gotaas is our Social Networking Champion.  Jim is in charge of the TAG Social Networking Area on NING.  His role at UCLan is eLearning Development Lecturer helping staff understand and utilise technology for learning.

Barbara Brown is TAG's Learning and Teaching Champion.  Barbara works in the School of Dentistry now, but was one the instigators of TAG.  She has a keen interest in students support and retention.

Beverly Leeds, the TAG Project Consultant is based in the Business School.  She has a great track record of managing and directing successful projects so her role on TAG is to advise and guide me in my first project management role.

Garry Watkins is the Technology Champion, he is looking at ways we can use technology to enhance TAG. Garry will also play a key role in the evaluation.

Of course the project would not be happening without the funding from JISC!
