Your school office is where you will find the administration team who support your school and your course.
They are there to answer any questions that relate to your course that aren’t academic or if you need to complete any forms or to change any of your details. For example, if you need to change a module, complete extenuating circumstances, request an extension, not sure where your next class is, can’t find a tutor, need a course handbook, have problems with your student record, etc.
In some schools assignments are submitted through the school office, and most are there to receive late submissions.
In the school office you will generally find lots of information leaflets about support services at UCLan, course information and events. Generally there are notice boards near the school office where information is posted for students so make sure you have at least a quick scan as you pass.
